United look to extend their winning run tomorrow night as they entertain Dunfermline with a place in the semi-finals of the co-operative insurance cup up for grabs. It’s a potential banana skin so we’ll have to play well to win the game. Dunfermline are no mugs and are only three points behind league leaders Queen of the South with a game in hand.

United are in excellent form particularly defensively which is a good sign. We weren’t at our attacking best on Saturday but that was more down to the tension in the team and the fact they were so desperate to win. This game will probably be similar to the one with Airdrie. Dunfermline will come here sit deep and hope to keep it goal less as long as possible. We’ll have to be patient and wait for the right opportunity but with the winning momentum being with us and with us being at home we should just have too much for Dunfermline.
