St Mirren V Dundee United

United nicked a point in injury time last weekend against the Accies, but now we face a tough away game against St Mirren on which will be our last ever game at Love Street unless we draw them in the Scottish Cup. The saints can be tricky opponents away from home as they recently beat Rangers there which is Rangers only defeat of the league season.

Possible Team:

                Zaluska

Kovacevic Wilkie Dods Dillon

           Flood  S.Robertson Gomis

           O’Donovon Sandaza Swanson

That is an estimated guess for the starting eleven there, we do know that there will be a few changes for this one. Paul Dixon has gone off the boil for the last two games so he could be one of the ones to drop out with Mihael Kovacevic taking his place which would mean Sean Dillon moving to left back. We may revert back to 4-3-3 which served us well last season and you feel it would be a three of Flood, Scott Robertson and Gomis. The front three could be anything but I have a sneaky feeling Swanson will get his chance tomorrow.

Ticket News

It won’t sell out, you can buy tickets at the club shop or tickets can also be bought at the ticket office/ kiosk outside the away stand tomorrow afternoon right up until kick-off. Tickets are priced at Adults £20, Senior Citizens and Under 16s £13, Parent and child £13 with – additional child £10.

Previous Meeting

Saturday 25th October 2008, 3PM kick-off, Tannadice, Dundee United 2-0 St Mirren

Two late goals from Roy O’Donovon and Craig Conway were enough to beat St Mirren on what was an emotional day at Tannadice following the sad death of Eddie Thompson.

Dangermen

St Mirren have been playing well recently without getting the results obviously not helped by the referee during last week when he refused to send Artur Boruc off. Andy Dorman caused us big problems last year so we’ll have to watch his late runs into the box.

Weather Forecast

It’s expected to be a cold but dry day tomorrow in Paisley.

Prediction: St Mirren 0-0 Dundee United
