Oh that worked. Tele and Courier have been a waste of time for ages with everything behind a paywall and they aren't worth paying for even though they're about the only place for local news. Found it particularly annoying during COVID when they'd be posting public health information but you'd have to pay to read it

If it isn't what they call premium content, you just hold on the link on your phone and click 'view incognito window' to see it, if on PC just right click the link and do the same.

I'm finding that works less and less with articles now.

Sadly didn't see it but recognised the noise of a Spitfire flying o we over the house earlier. Also yesterday a US Osprey flew overhead

Just saw the above post. Managed to catch both the Hurricane and Spitfire as they flew along the northern edge of the city on their way to Perth from Arbroath, though as I'm near Tannadice, they were a bit distant. Managed to catch the Spitfire around tea-time as it headed to/from Peterhead, though it was more or less over Broughty Ferry and Monifieth, so again rather distant (though thankfully the light was much better). Pics here - https://twitter.com/SFbirding/status...el5VpFu-CLK29w
