    Default Livi 3-1 County

The Livi winning streak goes on to 8 in a row, if we can beat the sheep on Wed night we'll go into the Celtic game going for 10 in a row.

Started well and another lovely goal from Robbo, he's turning into a prolific striker for us, the wee man is on fire just now. County pegging us back with a bit of fortune, scuffed shot landing at Lakin's feet, but he stuck it away well. After their equalizer they got a wee lift and should've gone 2-1 up, Shaw somehow missing a free header from inside our 6 yard box, and we went in 1-1.

Started the 2nd half well and could've gone ahead again 8 mins in but the keeper saved it, and the game looked like petering out to a 1-1 draw. However Martindaleho made inspired substitutions and all 3 had a hand in getting us ahead again, JET with some nifty footwork to start off the move, Hamilton laying it back to Pitts and Forrest firing it in off a County player.

Forrest and Hammy combined again for our 3rd and put the game to bed.

Tough game though and Hughes has toughened them up, we took a few knocks and will maybe need to freshen it up for the sheep on Wed, Mullin looked a bit jaded too, so could see Forrest starting in his place, good replacement to have with him being our top scorer this season on 11 goals.

Not won a game against Aberdeen since coming back into the top flight, and think it was 2005 since we last beat them, so long overdue a win against them and making it 9 in a row.

Livi's super dooper ALL weather pitch is unplayable again.
Life shouldn’t feel normal just now. So if your life still feels entirely normal, ask yourself if you are doing the right things, or if instead you might be putting yourself and others at unnecessary risk.

Yeah just a bit. Got soaked to the arse out walking my dog earlier yesterday, didn't stop all day, then turned to sleet, and snow later on.

If they'd brought the ko time forward to 6pm it would've been played though, great idea with an amber alert to have a 7.45 ko, esp with nae fans involved, travelling to the game. Ref said it was ok even 10 mins before he gave it a pitch inspection cause players had approached him raising safety concerns.

As for the ill informed all weather pitch patter, it isn't, no such thing exists, good for banter but some folk are serious with this and it's pretty funny reading them losing their **** on twitter and FB.

'All Weather' Pitches? | Maintaining Standards (technicalsurfaces.co.uk)

A common misconception with artificial sports pitches is that they are ‘all-weather’, so much so that they are often referred to as just the ‘All Weather Pitch’.
If maintained correctly, an astroturf pitch should be playable in most weathers, but it is a mistake to assume that such surfaces are ‘all-weather’, as grounds staff will no doubt have discovered when heavy snowfall hit the UK almost 12 months ago.
Anyway, the rearranged, rearranged sheep game is now on the 30th jan at 3 pm, and our midweek away game against them is being brought forward a day to Tues 2nd Feb at 6 pm ko. More sensible times when you've winter games with no fans allowed at games.

Yes, I don't get why we stick to the traditional kick-off times when no fans are in attendance. It's weird.
